Le Rond Point Meribel is a slope-side bar and restaurant in Méribel, in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area. I send guests here when a ski day calls for a proper pause. The restaurant is set into the side of the slopes, and the terrace looks down the valley, a fine spot to refuel over lunch, a snack or a drink. According to the booking page, it is open every day from 9am to 7pm.
Music is what I would mention first. There is live music every day of the week, with après-ski bands and sometimes DJs. Breakfast, lunch, après-ski and live music are all on offer, mainly in the winter season. If you would rather keep moving, the snack bar at around 2000m has a takeaway: ski in, take away, ride out. The snack menu includes burgers, noodles and fries.
Larger occasions are held here too. The Ronnie Loves Music Festival is an open-air live music festival on the piste, and the DC Snow Show is a winter music and snowboarding event. The events calendar also includes Christmas, New Year's Eve and guest DJs during the ski season. Spaces can be privatised for weddings and private parties. Tables can be reserved through a booking page on the website, which is available in English and French.
